Automatic labeling
You can ask Organyze to label files automatically. You do this by opening Windows Explorer, right-clicking on a folder, and in the Organyze menu selecting 'Automatic labels'.
Organyze 3.1 will ask you whether you wish to automatically label all the files inside the folder or only select formats. You can also decide to automatically label files in all the sub-folders in the folder or some of them (default is all). After deciding on this and on the formats, click on the Start button, and Organyze will immediately label all files in the folder (including its selected sub-folders) with the names of all the parent folders upstream of the files.
So, for example, if you have a folder structure in which the main folder is called Marketing, in which you have a sub-folder called Advertising and a sub-folder called Promotion, and the Advertising sub-folder has a sub-sub-folder called Ad agencies, then all the files in the sub-sub-folder called Ad agencies will automatically get these labels attached to them – Marketing; Advertising; and Ad agencies.
This automatic feature can be very useful for labeling older files.
But please remember this – you may end up with odd-sounding labels. And you may end up with too many same-name labels in parallel. On the other hand, if you use this automatic feature carefully, it could save you a huge amount of time.
